Father Robert H. Forcier

Forcier- Fr. R. H.

Born and raised in Warwick, Father Forcier was nurtured in the faith in St. Rose of Lima Parish (now Sts. Rose & Clement Parish) in Warwick. After graduating with a B.S. in Pharmacy from U.R. I. in 1982, Father Forcier practiced pharmacy in the retail setting for about 16 years. He entered the Seminary of Our Lady of Providence in 1998. In 1999, he was assigned by Bishop Mulvee for priestly formation at the Pontifical North American College in Vatican City in Rome and studied at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Vatican City, Rome. He also completed a degree in Spirituality at the Angelicum in Rome. Father Forcier was ordained to the priesthood on June 28, 2003. His had previously served as Assistant Pastor at St. Paul’s, Cranston, Sts. John & Paul, Coventry and Holy Apostles, Cranston. He served most recently as Pastor of St. Paul’s in Cranston from July 2010 until becoming Pastor of St. Augustine’s on February 17, 2015.
